As a company that builds and operates more than one commercial software product, we’ve centralized distribution and licensing under one dedicated portal — software.roxoniclimited.com — rather than scattering license management across each product independently.
Why This Needed Consolidating
Each product we build — from client-commissioned platforms like our invoicing and billing software to our own ventures — has its own update cadence and its own licensing logic. Managing that per-product, with separate infrastructure for each, duplicates the same operational overhead we spend our client engagements helping other businesses eliminate. Running one hardened, well-maintained distribution layer instead of several thin ones is simply the more disciplined engineering decision.
What the Portal Actually Handles
- Direct software license issuance and renewal for our commercial platforms.
- Version updates delivered from a single, consistently maintained infrastructure layer.
- A dedicated point of contact for licensing questions, separate from day-to-day product support.
Regional Infrastructure, Not a Third-Party Dependency
This infrastructure runs from our own regional hub in Ranchi, Jharkhand, rather than being outsourced to a generic third-party license-management SaaS. That keeps the same engineering team responsible for the products also responsible for how they’re licensed and delivered — consistent with how we approach every other part of the business: fewer external dependencies, more direct accountability.
What This Means Going Forward
As our proprietary ventures — GymCMS, Minlap, PsiQ Labs, and future products — continue to grow, this is the layer that scales underneath all of them without each one needing to solve licensing and distribution independently. It’s infrastructure work, which means the goal is for it to be invisible when it’s working correctly.
